主要工作職責 / 職務內容說明

KKBOX is the leading music streaming company in Asia, possessing more than 10 millions of music entries to serve users‘ daily needs. Nevertheless, when confronted with vast amount of songs, it becomes difficult for users to ferret out their desired ones. The mission of Research Team is to dig out a means of organizing millions of songs in all aspects you can imagine. In addition, we attempt to understand our customers‘ needs by data analysis. We work closely with other excellent teams to deliver better and better services using our techniques and discoveries.

We are seeking for a senior research engineer responsible for leading recommendation related projects. You will communicate with project managers to know the needs, translate into machine learning problem and design a solution for it. You will also give directions to our academic partners and research engineer that makes our recommender system into the next level.

responsibility

- communicate with project managers to know the needs and respond solutions they can understand

- translate the project needs into a machine learning problem and cooperate with research engineer to design an algorithm to solve it

- design either offline experiments and build online A/B tests to run in production systems

- give research directions to academic partners and research engineer

- Proficient in Linux, Unix systems, and Git.

- Experience in programming in python or scala

此工作所需具備的能力及行為特質

- Expertise in recommender system theoretically with a board understanding of related issues like cold-start, diversity, evaluation

- Experience in building recommendation engine in production is a plus

- Experience in running online A/B tests is a plus

- Great communication skills
